Data deletion requests — transparent workflows

Deletion is not a hidden support ticket. Patients and clinics use in-product workflows with status tracking, eligibility checks, and audit logging — designed to support healthcare data protection requirements without overpromising instant erasure where records must be retained.

For patients

Sign in to the patient portal, open your clinic records, and use the data deletion panel to describe your request. You will see status updates as the clinic reviews eligibility.

Some clinical or legal retention requirements may limit what can be erased immediately; the clinic will communicate outcomes through the workflow.

  • Export requests are available alongside deletion
  • Contact your clinic first for urgent medical record questions

For clinic staff

Administrators and authorized staff review patient deletion requests from the patient chart and admin privacy tools. Requests move through planned work items with audit events — not ad-hoc database edits.

Legal holds or active care relationships may pause or modify deletion scope; staff document decisions in the product.

What we do not claim

We do not promise that every deletion request removes every byte instantly in all jurisdictions. We provide structured workflows, anonymization where appropriate, and auditability so clinics can respond responsibly.
